GOALS 2010-11

1. Membership - “Reach One – Keep One”
I’m asking every member in 6820 to bring 1 guest to a meeting sometime this
year. I’m also asking members to spend 5 minutes talking to a club member
they don’t know well.

2. Health, Hunger, Water - District is committing $10,000 in SHARE funds to
Bill Boykin’s Kenyan water project. I’m asking each club to consider making an
additional donation $5 per member.

3. Literacy - District has committed $13,000 to support our Emmy Award winning
“Between the Lions”. I’m asking clubs that have not participated in this program
with a local Day Care to do so.

4. Rotary Foundation - I’m asking EVERY Club to make SOME contribution
regardless of the amount and would like to see the per capita average within the
District to reach $75.

5. New Orleans Convention - I’m asking each club to consider a $10 per member
donation this year to support our Sister District 6840’s effort to bring the 2011
Convention to New Orleans.

6. Presidential Citation - Each club should make getting this award a priority.
This year there is no minimum membership requirement - it’s strictly a point
system. Your club can receive this award “with distinction” if the club has had
an exceptional year.
