GOALS 2000-2010

*1. Literacy – Each club support “Between the Lions”, our District 6820 Literacy Project and/or other literacy projects.

*2. Health/Hunger/Water – Each club work through District 6820 Health/Hunger/Water coordinator Bill Boykin to align with a local initiative for international relief in one of these three areas.

*3. Membership – Clubs will maintain club membership at current level or above with the goal of having at least 2500 members in the District. (aim for +1 net membership per club at year’s end)

*4. Rotary Foundation – District should average $100 per member to TRF in our District (currently $65 per member) with Paul Harris Fellows. Also average $1,000 per club to match Gates Polio Challenge.

5. New Club – District will attempt to charter a minimum of one new club in District 6820.

6. New Orleans International Convention – Each club will strive for multi-year donations of $10 per member to support our New Orleans Convention in 2011 with a goal of $50,000 from our District.
