Membership Drive

ALL ROTARIANS IN DISTRICT 6820 ARE ELIGIBLE TO WIN A $500 NON-TRANSFERABLE VOUCHER REDEEMABLE AT THE DISTRICT 6820 CONFERENCE, PERDIDO BEACH RESORT, ORANGE BEACH, ALABAMA, APRIL 20-22, 2012.

Clubs in the District will be divided into 3 categories; small, medium, and large clubs.  A voucher will be awarded to a Rotarian in each of these three categories.

Every Rotarian that proposes a new member during the month of August will have their name entered for a drawing to be held at PETS on March 10, 2012.  For each new member proposed, the Rotarians name will be entered into the drawing.  The proposed new member must be a Rotarian in good standing on Feb. 29, 2012.

Names of the Rotarian and the proposed new member should be emailed to District Secretary, James Hunger: jfhunger@duckwood.net. A firm deadline for submitting names to the District Secretary is August 31, 2011.

All clubs are strongly encouraged to focus their attention toward membership during August, Rotary Membership Month.  Club Presidents please consider giving incentives such as gift cards for club members that propose new members.  An afterhour’s cocktails and hors d’oeuvres party is a good way to bring prospective Rotarians together and explain the benefits of becoming a Rotarian.
